TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Wichita, Kansas, 67214 Pay Information $1,752 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 15:00 - 03:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Kansas License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certification Must-Have: Experience in traveling or in large facility areas Job Description: - Unit consists of 52 beds. - Staff: Day and night shifts include 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel per pod. - Patient ratios are 3:1 on average, with low acuity up to 5:1, and team nursing for pediatrics. - Equipment includes Alaris pumps, and the EMR system used is Meditech. - Typical procedures involve IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatrics. - Ideal candidates are those who can keep up with a fast-paced environment and are diverse and quick learners. - Opportunity to work in a setting with a young and dynamic team. - Candidates with experience in a 52-bed emergency room or larger and who have Meditech experience will be prioritized. - Expectation to scan patients and medications accurately every time.
