Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Kansas License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH Must-Have: - Experience in traveling or working in large facility areas - Ability to perform IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and work in pediatrics Job Description: - Work in a 52-bed emergency department with an average patient ratio of 3:1 - Collaborate with a team of nurses, techs, unit clerks, physicians, and midlevel practitioners - Utilize Alaris equipment and Meditech EMR - Participate in team nursing for Pediatrics - Maintain high standards of patient care and strive for excellent patient experience - Adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle responsibilities independently - Preferred candidates will have TNCC certification and prior Meditech experience Additional Information: - Opportunity to work with a young and dynamic team - Exposure to new equipment and technologies - The unit values diverse professionals ready to learn quickly and adapt easily Please feel free to share your experience in large facilities, and any skills that make you a good fit for this role.
