Job Title: RN - Travel Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: RN License Certifications: Must-Have: Candidates should possess the ability to work well under pressure and have strong assessment skills. Job Description: - Work in a Level II Trauma pediatric unit with a 15-bed capacity. - Collaborate with a team comprising intensivists, RNs, desk technicians, respiratory therapists, dietary staff, and case management. - Maintain patient ratios of 2:1. - Operate general CR monitoring and equipment, including CRRT and TPT placements. - Utilize EMR system Meditech. - Perform typical unit procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements. - Adaptable and attentive to detail, with the ability to thrive in a teaching hospital environment. - New equipment and technology are introduced regularly, providing opportunities for skill development. - Join a seasoned staff team with varied schedule options.
