Hillside, Wichita, Ks 67214 Floor: 3rd Building: 4 General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds -37 Number of Staff - 12 Type of staff: Day Shift -8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, 1 Unit Clerk Night Shift - 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs Patient Ratios - 1:6; 1:4 for Heart Cath patients Type of equipment -PCA Pumps; IV pumps; Chest Tubes EMR -Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. BLS ACLS Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Central lines; Medication drips Heart Cath recovery; Bubble studies Best personality Fit: Positive Attitude/Engaged; Independent; Strong critical thinking skills Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
