Level II Trauma Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with 15 beds and a
diverse team of 38 staff members. - Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team including intensivists, desk techs,
respiratory therapists (RT), dietary staff, and case managers for
both day and night shifts. - Maintain a patient ratio of 2:1,
ensuring attentive and personalized care. - Utilize general
clinical and respiratory monitoring equipment, continuous renal
replacement therapy (CRRT), and perform transfusion port therapy
(TPT) placements. - Document and interact using electronic medical
records (EMR) in Meditech. - Perform typical unit procedures such
as IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements. - Exhibit attention
to detail and a willingness to learn new skills in a teaching
hospital environment. - Opportunities for learning and development
