  • Job Details
  • RN Oncology position at Ascension Health in Wichita, Kansas.
  • Contract length: 13 weeks.
    • Job Requirements
    • Current Kansas RN license required.
    • Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
    • License/Certificate Verification required within 30 days prior to start.
    • Completion of Ascension Color Vision prior to start and updated every 3 years.
    • Completion of Ascension Core Competencies within a year of start, updated yearly with minimum 80% score.
    • Completion of Ascension EKG Exam with a passing score of at least 80% prior to start.
    • Completion of Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation prior to start.
    • Completion of Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding prior to start.
    • Completion of Ascension Nova StatStrip prior to start.
    • Documentation of two MMR vaccines or Positive IGG Titer required prior to start.
    • Fit Test required prior to start, can be completed onsite.
    • Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or declination required prior to start.
    • Influenza Vaccine documentation required prior to start.
    • Health Statement required prior to first assignment, updated annually.

    • Documentation of Varicella vaccination or immunity required prior to start.
    • Tdap vaccination required prior to start.
    • Ascension Profile required prior to start.
    • Ascension 2 Professional References required prior to first assignment.
    • Ascension Criminal Background Check Results required prior to start.
    • Ascension EPLS required prior to start.
    • Ascension OFAC required prior to start.
    • Ascension Skills Checklist required within one year of start, updated annually for specialty.
    • Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen required within 30 days prior to start.
    • Ascension Badge Photo required prior to start.
    • Ascension Education Verification required within 90 days of start.
    • Ascension Confirmation of Assignment required upon initial assignment and updated upon each extension.

      • Must be AHA certified.
      • Flu season is October 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025. Exemptions/Declinations accepted, but candidate will be required to wear a mask at all times.
