• Certification Details
• Personal Health History requirements: MMR, Fit Test, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Positive PPD- Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire, 2 Step PPD OR IGRA, Varicella, Tdap.
• Certificates/Credentials need to be uploaded by our Ascension unit leader within a week if optional.
  • Job Requirements
  • Must have current nursing licensure verified through Nursys or LARA for Michigan hospitals within 30 days prior to start of assignment.
  • Nursys quick confirm verifications should be used to review ALL license activity, not just the state of placement.
  • Required certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Certification, Ascension Specialty Exam, Ascension Color Vision, Ascension Core Competencies, Ascension MOAB, Ascension Nova StatStrip - all must be AHA approved and completed as necessary.
    • Additional Details
    • Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation must be uploaded by the Agency.
    • Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding documentation to be done onsite.
    • Exemptions are NOT accepted for vaccines if working with pediatrics/infants, mon-immune pregnant women (L&D areas), non-immune immunosuppressed patients (oncology, transplant, etc.)
