Job Description:

  • Certification Details
  • BLS certification by AHA required
  • MMR vaccination or positive IGG titer required
  • Annual Fit Test mandatory for all disciplines
  • Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccine series or declination
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have a current nursing license
    • Nursing licensure verified through NURSYs required
    • Primary source verification of nursing license within 30 days prior to start of assignment
    • Nursing licensure in Michigan hospitals verified through LARA
    • Color Vision test completed prior to start and every 3 years thereafter
    • Must pass Ascension Core Competencies with a score of 90% or higher with only 2 attempts
    • Unit specific checklist is optional for onboarding
      • Additional Details
      • Pre-hire onboarding education attestation required
      • Onsite Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding necessary
