Position Summary:Role: VP, Fund Development Objective: Develops and
oversees a variety of fundraising programs aligned with the
agency's mission. This includes the cultivation of donations,
managing major gift programs, corporate sponsorships, planned
giving, and partnerships with community-based charitable

Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising Development: Create and manage programs targeting
corporate, institutional, and individual donors, focusing on major
gifts, in-kind donations, and planned giving. Ensure these efforts
align with agency needs and goals.
- Collaboration and Community Engagement: Act as a representative
to organizations like the United Way, and lead collaboration
efforts with foundations and grant-writing activities as
needed.
- Strategic Management: Formulate goals, policies, and long-range
plans to support agency initiatives, with regular reporting to
executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Program Execution: Conduct needs assessments to direct
fundraising campaigns effectively. Oversee new fundraising
initiatives, managing each project from concept through to
execution.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with all
regulations and agency policies in fund development, and implement
systems for timely information flow within the organization.
- Supervision: Lead a team by hiring, training, and supporting
staff, with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity and
teamwork.Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
- Experience: Minimum five years in program development with a
solid understanding of business principles, particularly in
services for children and families.
- Skills:
- Presentation: Strong communication skills, with an ability to
engage high-level stakeholders and create compelling written
materials.
- Financial: Proficiency in interpreting financial data and
budgeting.
- Analytical: Adept at data analysis and problem-solving.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Physical: Regularly requires talking, hearing, sitting,
standing, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional outdoor
work, moderate noise levels.Principal Accountabilities:

meet fundraising targets.
