Job Description:

Volt is hiring an Application Engineer in Wichita, KS with an industry leader who manufactures certified instruments, avionics and power solutions for the global aerospace industry.

In this role you will lead the technical interface between sales account managers and design engineers to secure programs and provide aftermarket support to customers.

As an Application Engineer, you will:
Lead the internal technical interface between engineering and the customer, either directly and/or through the sales account manager
Create, collect, consolidate, and/or summarize technical data to meet customer requirements and deliverables
Drive projects to meet company and engineering time, cost and requirements targets
Serve as the gatekeeper for intellectual property (IP) in accordance with company policy
Support new sales efforts by reviewing proposal requirements and determining compliance
Work closely with engineering project managers and teams to assess status and represent progress to sales account managers and customers

This is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate will have:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a related aviation field.
Strong program/project management skills.
Strong understanding of, or experience with electrical and electromechanical products.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Be a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Salary: $110 K annually with relocation assistance
