Job Description:
A company is looking for a Copy Editor to join their editing and
production team remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and trim stories for a global audience while adhering to
established procedures and standards
Proofread stories and check for updates as news develops
Coordinate with photo editors to ensure appropriate visuals
accompany articles
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience as an editor or proofreader for a
professional publication
Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related subject
Understanding of world events and how they are covered
In-depth knowledge of AP Style
Experience working in remote environments and collaborating across
virtual teams
